Kickin’ Kowboy run

The Kickin’ Kowboy 5K run/walk and Kids Run is Saturday at the OHS track.

Registration begins at 6 a.m. on race day and must be completed by 7 a.m. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. The Kids Run (one lap of the track) begins at 7:15 a.m.

The fee is $10, $5 for children. The first 100 to pre-register will receive a T-shirt. The top three runners in each age group will receive medals.

55-over softball

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 55-over softball league beginning Nov. 2.

Those interested in participating may contact Al Frisenda at 407-892-1601.

Whaley ranch champ

Kenansville's Laci Whaley earned Stampede Race Champion honors at the Ranch Rodeo Finals Oct. 3 at the Silver Spurs Arena. Her team, consisting of Gene Cox, Hunter Holley, Marshall Godsey and Jason Hayward were the Team Doctoring champs.
