The Osceola boys and Celebration girls golf teams claimed the team titles at the Orange Belt Conference golf championships Monday.
The Kowboys, led by individual medalist Steven Fowler's four-over 75 at Kissimmee Bay Country Club, shot 336 to edge three-tme defending champion Harmony by six shots.
St. Cloud (352), Celebration (359), Liberty (412), Poinciana (424) and Gateway (542) followed in that order.
The girls tournament was not that close. Celebration's Natalie Benetti shot five-over 77 at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links to take the individual title by 11 shots over teammate Ashley Nelson. The Storm carded a team score of 366 that was 43 better than runner-up Osceola. They were followed by St. Cloud (425), Harmony (445), Liberty (511) and Poinciana (519).
Saturday's News-Gazette will have more information on the OBC tournaments and the district tournaments, which will be held Monday at Harmony Golf Preserve (girls) and St. Cloud (boys).
