It is easier for families and fans of Osceola County high school athletes to be informed after the Osceola School District recently launched its new website at www.c2cschools.com/ osceolacounty.
Available at the site are sports schedules for many of the county’s high school and middle school teams and information on coaches, clinics, county champions and sports camps.
Driving locations to games and updated weather reports also will be available said Ryan Adams, the school district’s Coordinator of Athletics, JROTC and Driver’s Education.
“This is something that I’ve been interested in doing for a long time,” Adams, the former New Dimensions athletic director and boys basketball coach, said. “As soon as I got the job in June, I started working on it.”
Adams, who calls himself, “something of a techie,” has spent the past four months adding information to the new athletics website, which is also available through a link from the school district’s website  (www.osceola.k12.fl.us).
The athletics website also contains links to each high school and middle school website, and also to individual team pages.
Adams said those subscribing, at no cost, to the athletic website will be updated about changes in game schedules, times and locations.
Subscribers will be e-mailed each Sunday evening a list of upcoming events.
“The site offers unlimited opportunities for everyone to stay informed of all schedules, directions and changes as they occur to ensure that everyone is up to date with our county athletics,” Adams said.
Information about how to subscribe to the website is posted at the site. For more information, contact Michele Preisser at 407-963-7737, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
