“If you build it, they will come.” But then what? How do they get around?
The Polk Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is the lead transportation planning agency for Polk County. It develops transportation plans and programs for Polk County as mandated by state and federal legislation to meet the community’s long-term and short-term needs.
As part of the public involvement activities planned for the 2035 Mobility Vision Plan (MVP), the TPO staff has scheduled four community workshops throughout Polk County. The purpose of these workshops is to obtain public comment on the Mobility Vision Plan.
There will be a TPO public workshop today from 4 to 6 p.m. This meeting will be at the Poinciana Community Center, 395 Marigold Ave.
Poinciana has already shown as a community “if you build it, they will come.” Now let’s give input to Poinciana’s future, so not only will they come, they will stay, play, work and prosper with easy access and thoughtful planning.
