Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives on Sept. 22 arrested Bernard Peter Mosco Jr., 42, of 1136 Alicante Ave., Orlando, and charged him with two counts of sexual battery.

The investigation began Sept. 21 when deputies took a report of sexual battery. The 18-year-old victim told detectives she responded to an employment advertisement on Craig's List. She was contacted by “Bernie,” later identified as Mosco, who told her he owned a nightclub called Bravo Bravo and was interviewing females to be “Shot Girls.”

The victim told Mosco she did not have transportation to meet him for an interview and they arranged for him to pick her up at her residence. On Sept. 21, Mosco took her to the Ramada Inn at 2145 E. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee. He told her the interview would be in a motel room and would require her to drink alcohol. The victim became intoxicated and told deputies that Mosco touched her inappropriately and forced her to have sex. The victim also told detectives she complied with Mosco’s demands because she was concerned for her safety.

Based on the information and evidence, detectives obtained a felony warrant and on Sept. 22 arrested Mosco.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident or any similar incident to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
