Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives still need the public's help in locating a suspect possibly involved in an early morning road-rage incident on Sept. 5 that led to the death of a Lake Wales resident.

The Crimeline reward has been increased to $15,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest.

On Sept. 5, at 12:36 a.m., county deputies re-sponded to the 7-Eleven at 1600 Pleasant Hill Road, Poinciana, in reference to a shooting. When units ar-rived, they spoke with witnesses who reported that a burgundy Chevrolet pickup pulled into the parking lot and the driver, later identified as Joshua Levi Burch, 20, appeared to have been shot.

Burch was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center and later died. Several days after the incident, deputies and detectives set up roadblocks on Pleasant Hill Road and distributed approximately 4,000 Crimeline fliers. Deputies also placed road signs in the same area to bring awareness to the crime.

Detectives are looking for a black or Hispanic male driving a newer-model, black SUV, possibly a Nissan, that was northbound on Pleasant Hill Road a mile from U.S. Highway 17-92.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
