Theisen

Late Monday evening, David James Theisen, 31, one of the suspects being sought following a grow house bust Sept. 9, was arrested after he turned himself into Osceola County Investigative Bureau agents.

Theisen was charged with cultivation of cannabis and theft of utilities with additional charges pending. On Friday, bureau agents located Jamie Kemper, 27, also wanted for questioning in the marijuana grow house operation from earlier in the week. He was not arrested but charges are pending.

On Sept. 9, bureau agents served a search warrant at 8805 Tri County Road, Kissimmee, where they located the marijuana grow house inside a 30-by-60-foot barn on the property and took into evidence 234 plants that ranged from 6 inches tall to 5 feet tall.

Theisen and Kemper fled the residence and were wanted for questioning. As a precaution, two schools in the area were on lockdown for several hours while deputies set up a perimeter and searched for the suspects. The search was eventually called off and agents obtained a felony warrant for Theisen’s arrest.
