CrossPointe Church has announced it has moved into the new Vision 360 Bill and Vonette Bright Global Collaboration Center located on a 22-acre, campus-like setting off Moss Park Road near Lake Nona.
As the anchor tenant within the new 56,000-square-foot facility, the church will occupy approximately 28,000 square feet on the first floor, including an 850-seat auditorium that can be converted to four classrooms and one small theater; a prayer chapel, generous children’s and youth space; pastoral, administrative and conference space, as well as a café and staging kitchen. One of the features of CrossPointe’s facility is the music practice and recording studio, complete with high-tech capabilities for commercial reproductions.
CrossPointe Church, founded nine years ago by Chan Kilgore, moved into the facility the week of Aug. 23 and will hold a dedication service Sunday at 9:30 and 11 a.m.
“The church envisions itself as the church for the next generation, complemented by the wisdom of seasoned Christians who mentor future leaders and members of the church.
“When I was called to this area, there were very few homes and a lot of pasture land and cows. I’m sure there were skeptics but this is where God called my wife Stacy and me. We were faithful to that calling and now have this amazing opportunity to have a greater impact on the lives of people in East Orange County and the Lake Nona area,” Kilgore stated.
From the inspired vision of Al Weiss and partner Steve Johnson, the facility will serve as the worldwide training center for personnel involved in planting churches throughout the United States and globally.
