The city of St. Cloud, Osceola County Veterans Council and Veterans of Foreign Wars District 8, Post 3227, invite the community to a Patriot Day ceremony Friday, Sept. 10, from 8:30 to 9 a.m., at the City Hall courtyard.
The community is invited to gather in remembrance of those who died or were injured on Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor those who serve or have served the United States of America.
The city will place two barriers on a small portion of New York Avenue (between City Hall and the VFW 3227 building) from 8 to 9 a.m., Sept. 10. For the safety of attendees, public, and gun-salute personnel, all drivers must use an alternate route. Parking areas surrounding City Hall and City Hall office hours will not be affected.
For more details, call 407-957-7303.
