Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies will conduct a safety and DUI sobriety checkpoint Friday.

Motorists approaching a checkpoint will see informational signs advising them that a sobriety checkpoint is ahead. Once diverted into the checkpoint lane, deputies will explain the purpose of the checkpoint and check driver licenses. Sobriety checkpoints are conducted in accordance with guidelines set out by Florida statutes.
