Suspect

On Aug. 1 in the downtown Kissimmee area at approximately midnight, a 25-year-old woman was walking home from her job when a man came up behind her and pressed some type of sharp object to her back and told her to do as he said, Kissimmee police reports said.

The suspect walked the victim to a vacant lot in the area of Church Street and sexually battered her, police said. The victim struggled with the suspect and was able to get away. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male with medium tone skin, medium length salt-and-pepper hair, salt-and-pepper stubbles on his face, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

The victim told authorities the suspect had some sort of tattoo on the palm side of his left wrist. The tattoo is of symbols, not numbers or letters.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the crime is urged to call the Kissimmee Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at 407-846-3333, by e-mail at seeitsayit@kissimmee.org or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
