Outdoors camp

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation and Kissimmee Outdoors are holding an Outdoor Adventure Camp Monday through Friday.

The camp includes canoeing, hiking and guided paddle trips.

SC frosh football

Ninth-graders enrolled at St. Cloud High School interested in playing freshmen football must report Aug. 16 at 2:30 p.m.

All players must have an updated physical.

Osc. Youth Softball

The Osceola Youth Softball League will hold fall registration at Oren Brown Park, 3511 Baker Drive, Kissimmee (off Hoagland Boulevard) for girls, ages 4-14, from 10 a.m. to noon today, Aug. 14 and 21, and from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. Aug. 28.

Fees are $65 per player, which includes a jersey and field equipment. All new players must provide a copy of their birth certificate to register. Coaches and assistant coaches are needed, especially in the 8-U division.

Come-n-Try Day is Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. New players rotate through pitching, catching, and batting skills.

All new players must attend Assessment Day Aug. 28: 8-U at 10 a.m.; 10-U at 11 a.m. and 14-U at noon.

SC Little League

St. Cloud Little League will hold fall registration for fall baseball from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today, Aug. 14, Aug. 21, Aug. 28 and Sept. 4 at the St. Cloud Civic Center, 3001 17th St. For more information, call Debbie Henderson (407-908-5835) or e-mail Debbie.henderson97@yahoo.com.

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration for the fall softball leagues weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex, 2500 Fortune Rd., Kissimmee. For more information, call 407-518-2504.

Umpire’s clinic

The city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department will host an umpire’s clinic for anyone interested in becoming a slow pitch softball umpire for the city leagues.

The free one-day clinic is 8:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex, 2500 Fortune Road, Kissimmee. For more information, contact Dustin Gassert at  dgassert@kissimmee.org.
