On Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the St. Cloud Police Department’s Traffic Division will conduct a driver’s license/safety checkpoint on 17th Street.
Drivers will be directed into a lane where they will be stopped and asked to show their driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance.
Officers also will be enforcing equipment and seat belt violations. There will be minimal impact to traffic in the area.
The St. Cloud Police Department is committed to promoting safety for motorists using public highways and to provide a deterrent for those who violate laws that regulate and control motor vehicle traffic.
For more information regarding this operation, contact Sgt. Dhalyn Lakey or Officer Jonathan Colley, Traffic Division, at 407-891-6749.
