The city of St. Cloud Parks and Recreation staff announces the postponement of the Brent Fullwood Adult Flag Football League until January 2011. Originally, the league was scheduled to begin Aug. 14.
“We decided to postpone the league until January because we do not want to interfere with the Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc., activities,” Recreation Manager Stephanie Holtkamp said. “The coaches who participate in our league are the same coaches who participate in Pop Warner. Waiting until January to begin our league is in the best interest of all involved.”
The Parks and Recreation staff continues to be hard at work coordinating several events for the enjoyment of the community. August events include:
• Aug. 6: sunset, Movie at the Lakefront - “Tooth Fairy”

• Aug. 21, 7 - 11 p.m., Kids Night Out; ages 6-12
• Aug. 23, Men’s 30+ 4 -on - 4 Tuesday Night Fall Basketball League registration begins

9 p.m.
• Saturday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
