Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested Stephen Rudolphe, 23, and Joshua Starnes, 20, both of Orlando, on charges of robbery by sudden snatching, battery and grand theft.

At approximately 10 p.m., Tuesday deputies responded to The Loop at 3208 N. John Young Parkway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who indicated he had made arrangements on the Internet to sell his iPhone. The victim met Starnes, of 14930 Lake Azure Drive, near a retail store at the shopping mall, but instead of exchanging money for the phone, Starnes took the phone and ran to a nearby vehicle.

The victim told authorities he chased down Starnes and was able to get the iPhone from his hands after a brief physical altercation. Rudolphe, of 14715 Hunt Cliff Parkway, who was in the vehicle, began battering the victim and was able to steal the phone before both suspects fled the area in the vehicle. The victim was not seriously injured during the incident.

After further investigation, detectives on Wednesday located and arrested Rudolphe in Orange County. He was booked into the Orange County Jail.

On Thursday, detectives arrested Starnes. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
