Kowboys knock off No. 5 Fort Pierce Central

By Rick Pedone Sports Editor Osceola High  has displayed the elements of a top 10 football team all season, and Friday it played like one. The Kowboys jumped on visiting Class 8A No. 5 Fort Pierce Central early, building a 21-7 halftime lead, and they thwarted a Cobras comeback with an impressive 80-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter to clinch a 28-14 win before 2,000 fans at Kowboys field.

Daniel Pearson or the News-Gazette  Quarterback Alex Cavender fired four touchdown passes and ran for a fifth to lead the Space Coast Vipers to a 49-3 win over the Celebration Storm on Friday night.
