Littlefield

Linda Littlefield, 38, an attorney with Littlefield Law Group in Kissimmee who was arrested last week and charged with swindling a widow out of nearly $54,000 for online purchases of various items, has been disbarred.
Karen Kirksey, public information coordinator with the Florida Bar, said Littlefield signed a consent of disbarment for a minimum period of 10 years. Although the disbarment is immediate, it will not be official until signed by the state’s Supreme Court. The disbarment document was mailed to the court Monday.
Littlefield has been implicated in making unauthorized credit card purchases from a woman who let Littlefield control a $40,000 trust fund. The woman, Janet Lentz, reported Littlefield to detectives after receiving credit card statements with high balances.
As part of her disbarment consent, Littlefield will have to pay all costs associated with her case, amounting to $2,939. It is not known what other, if any, penalties Littlefield may incur.
Littlefield’s husband, Ross, was arrested earlier this week and charged with grand theft in connection with his wife’s alleged illegal activities.
