A four-week-old kitten, stuck at the bottom of a sewer in the Lindfields neighborhood, west of Kissimmee since Friday, was rescued Tuesday morning and is currently up for adoption.

Osceola County Animal Control Officer Patrick Gantz helped scoop the kitten from the hole with a net and some catfood.

A local nonprofit, Spay the Strays, took in the kitten until a permanent home can be found. Call 407-460-2305 for more information.
