Three members of the Kissimmee Police Department were promoted during a ceremony at the
City Commission meeting June 1.
The police department swore in one lieutenant and two new sergeants — Lt. Ralph Herrera, Sgt. Matthew Koski and Sgt. Christopher Succi. They begin their new duties Saturday.
Herrera has been a member of the police department for 11 years. He has worked in the patrol division, the tactical investigative unit and was a public information officer. Koski has been with the department for seven years. He has also been a member of the patrol division and the tactical investigative unit. Succi has been with the department for eight years and has been a member of the patrol unit, the property crimes and major crimes units.
Herrera and Koski will be assigned to the patrol division. Herrera will be an evening watch commander overseeing squads G and H and Koski will be assigned as the supervisor for squad H. Succi will be assigned to the criminal investigative division and will be the supervisor for the major crimes unit.
“These men have been valued members of our department during their tenure,” Police Chief Fran Iwanski said. “I have all the confidence that they will continue to contribute and will be effective supervisors for our agency.”
