A St. Cloud man was shot in the neck Tuesday when he got into an argument over a gun he stole with another man, who is now charged with attempted murder, according Osceola County Sheriff's Office reports.

Shawn Michael Pavolko, 19, faces armed burglary and other weapons charges, along with the attempted murder count while charges are pending against the shooting victim, James Wilson.

The police investigation began Friday, May 21, when officers responded to 3208 Cleopatra Court in reference to a shooting. Wilson said he was walking around the Floridian RV Resort when a stranger shot him in the neck. He was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives discovered, as they investigated, that Wilson and Pavolko were involved in an armed burglary and stole a gun. They argued over returning the gun, leading to Pavolko shooting Wilson. Pavolko, of 646 Bradbury Road, Haines City, was arrested.
