Kissimmee police are looking for a man they believe robbed a CenterState Bank Feb. 18, a little more than a month after serving nine years behind bars for robbery.

Archie Lee Rembert, 40, has been identified as the suspect who gave a teller at the 920 S. John Young Parkway a note demanding money at around 9 a.m. that day. He ran from the bank, escaping on foot. No one in the bank was injured.

Detectives, after identifying the suspect as Rembert, obtained a search warrant for his home at 3834 Bay Club Circle, Apt. 204. Due to his criminal history, the SWAT team assisted in the raid, which occurred at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon.

Rembert was not at his apartment. Anyone with information on him is asked to contact the Kissimmee Police Department at 407-846-3333, by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or anonymously through Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.

Rembert was released from prison on Jan. 12, after serving nine years on robbery charges.
