Gateway falls

Gateway lost its spring football game at Lake Nona, 35-7, Thursday.

Quarterback Kevin Sousa threw four touchdown passes as the Lions built a 21-0 halftime lead.

Panthers golf

The Gateway High School football program is holding its second annual Panther Golf Scramble May 29 at 8 a.m. at Kissimmee Bay Country Club.

Entry fee for the four-man team event is $65 per player. Hope sponsorships are also available. Entry forms are available at the school. For information call Coach Derek Knappins at 810-614-2495.

KUA track

The city of Kissimmee Athletics Division offers its junior track program, sponsored by KUA,  through June 25 at Gateway High.

Children ages 6-17 are eligible. Practices are  Mondays and Wednesdays,  and meets are  Fridays. Practices and meets are from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Top Gun camp

St. Cloud High basketball coach Tim McMullen will host the 23rd Top Gun basketball shooting camp June 14-18 from 8 a.m. to noon at the high school gym.

The camp features instruction, competition and fun for children in grades 4-12. The fee is $75. T-shirts and trophies are included.

Shooter’s Gold camp

New Dimensions High School will host the Shooter’s Gold summer basketball camp June 21-24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m for students entering grades 5-8 next school year.

The camp includes instruction, a T-shirt, breakfast and lunch.

GOU tryouts

The Greater Osceola United Soccer Club (GOU) will hold competitive team tryouts June 1 to 4 at Austin-Tindall Park at 5:30 p.m.

Tryouts June 1 and 3 are for U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U-17, U-18 and U-19 boys and girls teams.

Tryouts June 2 and 4 are for U-13, U-14, U-15 and U-16 boys and girls teams. Visit www.osceolasoccer.com for more information.

Poin. Hoops tourney

Poinciana Hoops Inc. will host an AAU boys basketball tournament June 18-20 at the Poinciana High and Horizon Middle School gyms.

The fee is $295.

Check in for 13-U, 14-U, 15-U, 16-U and Senior teams is June 18 at Poinciana High from 6 to 8 p.m.

Check in for 12-U teams at Horizon Middle School is 7:30 to 10 a.m.

All teams must bring their AAU roster and age verification documents. All players must be AAU registered.

KSA swimming

The Kissimmee Swimming Association is accepting new swimmers.

Swimmers must be at least age 5 who can swim freestyle and backstroke. KSA also is accepting swimmers age 18 or older for its masters program.

Father’s Day golf

Kissimmee Bay Country Club will host the 21st Annual Father’s Day Golf Tournament June 20 at 8 a.m.

The $45 fee includes all fees, lunch, awards and a  photo.
