Suspect

Police are looking for a man who tried to break into a Kissimmee apartment until the female resident noticed him.

At 11 p.m. on May 1, Kissimmee officers responded to the burglary call at apartment 105 of the Outrigger Village Apartments, at 1701 Mabbette St. The victim reported to police that she heard a noise at her front door and saw the knob move. It sounded like someone was trying to push the door in. She then looked through the peephole and saw a male stranger.

She then went to the back of the apartment and saw the same person try to enter through a screen door. Once the suspect noticed her, he left.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a medium-build, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 180 pounds, long black hair and brown eyes.
