Disagrees with museum editorial

To the editor:
This is concerning the opinion page, Osceola News-Gazette, Thursday May 13.
May I ask what crystal ball was used to determine your "belief" that the Museum of Military History (formally known as Veterans Tribute and Museum) would not be an effective generator of tourism dollars?
I would have hoped, in a sense of fairness, you would have wanted to wait and see the reports and projections of this museum's impact on the area. Which, by the way, I have seen (in draft form) and they contradict your crystal ball.

Supports Horner
To the editor:
The Osceola News-Gazette recently printed letters from two individuals criticizing Mike Horner’s efforts to thwart the federal government’s enormous expansion into health care. However, I am very proud of state Rep. Mike Horner for his hard work to prevent Floridians from being forced to participate in ObamaCare.
Apparently these individuals are upset that Horner helped sponsor the Florida Health Care Freedom Act, which calls for a constitutional amendment that would prevent Floridians from being fined or prosecuted for opting out of government run healthcare. Thanks to Mike Horner and other courageous Republicans, this amendment will be on the ballot this fall. Why are liberals so afraid of letting the voters decide whether they want to keep private healthcare?
I believe that ObamaCare is unconstitutional and I support Attorney General Bill McCollum’s lawsuit to end this massive expansion of the federal government. Leaders like Horner and McCollum should be congratulated for protecting Floridians from this intrusive and expensive healthcare mandate.

Abortion issue
To the editor:
I am writing about the abortion issue. Most people think abortions are evil, after all, it is the killing of babies and technically it is murder. That's true, but, there is also a good side to it.
It could prevent the next Hitler or someone like that. You see, it can work both ways. The bad side is, you can be killing the next Isaac Newton or Einstein. The good side is, you can also be killing the next Adolph Hitler or Saddam Hussein.
Abortions are usually based on a young mother not wanting the child in the first place. And if the child goes through life feeling unloved, it is very possible the child will turn into somebody like that (that's why they were so evil). If abortions were illegal or unconstitutional, as you could imagine, this would be a big problem.
However, I do agree 100 percent that abortions are wrong and do need to be a lot more rarer than they are now. Another  example of the disadvantage is that aborting the baby because the mother was raped is also wrong. In this case, which is also very common, it would be wrong because they shouldn't punish the baby just because someone else raped them. This is definitely something that needs to be better regulated.
