After releasing a different Joshua Marrero from jail, Kissimmee detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Joshua Marrero Hernandez, the man they believe is responsible for a home-invasion robbery last week.

Marrero Hernandez is charged with armed home invasion robbery, aggravated assault, grand theft and criminal mischief, on a warrant with no bond status.

The victim of the invasion said his friend, now identified to be Marrero Hernandez, broke into his house at 2419 Morgan Pointe Blvd. Sunday, breaking the patio door with a bat and threatening him with it. Marrero Hernandez struck the family dog with the bat, took a television and left.

The detective notified the assistant state attorney, who issued a no-information notice be sent to the jail. Marrero was released from the jail at around 3:30 p.m. that day and was driven back to his home by the detective.

Marrero Hernandez is still at large.
