The Kissimmee Swim Association competed at the Florida Swimming Junior Olympic Championships in Clearwater and at the Senior Championships at Orlando.

At the junior event, Kissimmee’s Joshua Cancel placed 21st in the boys’ 50-yard backstroke. Walker Brooks, Lindsey Saute and Suanny Zamora also qualified.

At the senior event, Kendall Castillow, Alexandra Martinez, Saute, Zamora and alternate Jenny Gutierrez competed in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
