Kissimmee police have issued an arrest warrant for felony battery for 25-year-old Benjamin Eli Cochrane, of Kissimmee.

On April 17, one of Cochrane’s employees went to the Kissimmee Police Department to file a report against Cochrane. The man told police that on April 16 at around 1:30 p.m. Cochrane came into the office at 702 Verona St., Kissimmee, and began yelling at him to get off the telephone. Cochrane then grabbed the phone out of the employee’s hand, threw a chair at him and pushed the employee several times out of the office, police reported.

When the employee was pushed the second time he lost his balance and fell, hitting his head on the doorframe. The employee suffered a laceration over his right eye, scraped his elbow and sprained his right ankle. The employee transported himself to the hospital for treatment.

The employee stated to police that Cochrane never explained why he became enraged, and that Cochrane refused to pay him for work already performed.
