Hernando Cortez Thompson Jr., 24, of Orlando, wanted for attempted murder in the shooting of two Kissimmee men at Brack Street and Cypress Street in Kissimmee, turned himself in Tuesday.

Kissimmee police officers responded to the intersection of the shooting at about 3:30 p.m. Monday to find the two Kissimmee residents – Joshua Kitzmann, 20, and Justin Walker, 75 – shot. Both were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Later that day, at around 9 p.m., police served a search warrant at Lambert Inn, 410 W. Vine St., Kissimmee, to look for Thompson, who was identified as the shooter by one of the victims and a witness. Though Thompson was renting a room at the inn, he was not found.

He turned himself in to Kissimmee Police Department Tuesday morning and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without bond.
