Kissimmee Police Department detectives have arrested two people they suspect in the theft of six motorcycles and four trailers out of Orange and Osceola counties.

On April 19, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Kissimmee Police Department responded to the My Neighborhood Storage at 1701 Dyer Blvd. in reference to a noise complaint. Officers contacted Ernesto Lopez, 25, and Justin Olsen, 28, who were in front of storage unit 3009 with the roll-up bay door open.  Officers noticed there were several motorcycles inside this small storage facility.  Upon further investigation, officers noticed a motorcycle that had been reported stolen out of Osceola County.

Detectives interviewed both Lopez and Olsen, who both stated they had been stealing motorcycles out of Orange and Osceola counties. The men would steal trailers and then push stolen motorcycles onto the trailers. The men were using the parts of the stolen motorcycles to build another motorcycle.

Lopez and Olsen have been charged with six counts of grand theft auto, six counts of conspiracy to commit grand theft auto, two counts of grand theft of $5,000 or more, two counts of conspiracy to commit grand theft of $5,000 or more, two counts of dealing in stolen property, two counts of conspiracy to commit dealing in stolen property, one count of operating a chop shop, one count of conspiracy to operate a chop shop, one count of possession of burglary tools and one count of possession of a vehicle with an altered serial number.

Both Lopez and Olsen were transported to the Osceola County Jail and held on a $23,000 bond.
