The congregation of St. Cloud Church of the Nazarene bid farewell to its longest-serving pastor, M.D. Sartin, and his wife, Betty, after a dinner given in their honor following the morning worship service on March 28.
Sartin served as pastor of the church for more than 19 years.
The church prospered under his ministry and the year-round attendance grew.
During his tenure, the church paid off a large debt that was incurred in building the current sanctuary that was just completed when he first arrived.
