2010 Arts Alive scholars awarded

On March 30, the Osceola ACE (Arts for a Complete Education) Coalition presented the 2010 Arts Alive Showcase and Scholarship Awards event.
There was $19,000 in scholarships given away to 10 deserving Osceola County arts students, who will go on to pursue their artistic dreams and aspirations upon graduation this year.
The following students were selected to participate in this event and earned scholarships:
Dance: Kelley Reid from Osceola County School for the Arts, Arts Alive Dance Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County; Anne Edouard from Osceola County School for the Arts, Maggie Carrillo Scholarship; Drama: Deandra Egan from Celebration High School, Arts Alive Drama Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County; Amber Paoloemilio from Gateway High School, Bryan Hayes Acting Award, sponsored by Gail Golden; Instrumental: Logan Castro from Osceola County School for the Arts, Osceola ACE Coalition Fine Arts Student of the Year, sponsored by Arts for a Complete Education; and Andrew Burns from Osceola County School for the Arts, Arts Alive Instrumental Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County.
Also Technical Theatre: Luke Cochran from Osceola County School for the Arts, Arts Alive Technical Theatre Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County; Visual: Luke Consolo from Osceola County School for the Arts, Arts Alive Visual Art Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County; Vocal: Helen Blondel from Osceola High School, Osceola County Fine Arts Student of the Year, sponsored by the Osceola Center for the Arts; and Trent Hayward from Celebration High School, Arts Alive Vocal Scholarship, sponsored by the Education Foundation-Osceola County.
