The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is investigating the attempted robbery of a St. Cloud student who was attacked as he was walking home from school.

The student was walking home after playing basketball when four people on bikes grabbed his backpack and began hitting him, the victim told deputies Wednesday. They demanded personal items from him, but fled as a car drove by. The victim waited several hours before calling law enforcement.
