The Osceola Center for the Arts is now accepting registrations for youth summer camps.  Camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in two-week sessions and are for children ages 7-14.
Cost is $200 per session and the camp dates are as follows:
Session one – Theatre – June 14 - 25
Session two – Visual Arts – July 5 - 16
Session three – Theatre – July 19 - 30
Session four – Visual Arts – Aug. 2 - 13
During the theatre sessions, campers will study the art of acting, learn technique and theatre terminology, and study voice and projection. They also will learn how to prepare for an audition as well as dance and sing. The session ends with a live performance on-stage on the final day of camp.
During the Visual Arts sessions, campers will be drawing, painting, learning photography and pottery. All levels of artistic ability will benefit from this session, from the beginner to the advanced student. The session ends with a reception and an exhibit of all the work that has been created.
