A methamphetamine lab was uncovered by authorities Sunday at the Seville Inn, 4640 U.S. Highway 192, west of Kissimmee.

At around 8 a.m. that morning, a resident approached Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies working in the area and told them about possible drug and prostitution activity in Room 320 of the motel. Deputies investigated the accusations, speaking with the resident of the room and another person, 36-year-old Robert Reyes, of Orlando.

Along with the meth lab, about 19 grams of methamphetamine, one tablet each of Ecstasy, Valium and hydrocodone, as well as marijuana, were discovered in the room.

Occupants of that and nearby rooms were evacuated for safety precautions while the Osceola County Investigative Bureau was notified to dismantle the lab.

Bureau agents recovered several items consistent with a meth lab operation and found an additional 13 grams of marijuana and solutions that tested positive for ephedrine.

Reyes, of 4021 Amron Drive, Orlando, was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, possession of meth and possession of the controlled substances. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
