Kissimmee Parks and Recreation hosted its fourth annual Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, held for the first time at Shingle Creek Regional Park.

The three-hour event, which featured games, food and activities for children and the young at heart, culminated with the dropping of several hundred plastic Easter eggs from a helicopter.

Bigger children had a chance to find plastic eggs dropped by helicopter, right, onto a field adjacent to historic orange grove farm buildings.
