Employment-seekers can now apply online

The City of St. Cloud Human Resources staff has completed a 14-month effort to bring an online application system to city employment-seekers. As of March 8, job applicants are able to:
• Search and apply for City of St. Cloud employment 24/7
• Apply from any location with Internet access
• Apply for multiple/various jobs without re-entering individual’s information
“This new system does not only improve the job application process for those seeking employment within the city of St. Cloud, but it also helps city staff,” Human Resources Director Harvey Bisson said. “City department users will now experience a faster, more convenient hiring process. It’s a win-win for all of us and we’re very happy to have this new system in place.”
New features of particular interest to job seekers include a login section for access to check application status and enhanced e-mail notification for job openings.
The new system is managed by NEOGOV, a company that provides services to a large number of state and local government agencies ranging in size from 100 to 60,000 employees. Its products automate the hiring process.
