Harmony’s French students 2nd in state

Last month, French students from all over the state of Florida gathered in Orlando at the Doubletree Hotel to test their French linguistic skills.
Among these students were those from Harmony High under the direction of Jeannie Clark. This was only the second year that Harmony High participated in the 58th Congres de la Culture Française en Florida, placing third in 2009, and now second in 2010 among division 4A schools.
The students brought home 20 superior ratings and eight excellent ratings to achieve this milestone.
The following Harmony students participated:
Rosa Germani, Ruth Medrano, Zach Smith, Jillian Jones, Carolina Escander, Diego Vazquez, Will Casiano, Briana Kimura, Ian Trente, Jorge Rodriguez, Heather Larche, Melanie Sosa, Cara Wilson, Mita Merissaint, Briana Brock, Katy Clark, Lauren Whaley, Samantha Bonbon, James DeVault, Kristen Sickle, Daphney Cherelus, Berdine Merissaint, Neena Shahid, Nicole Diaz and Sandy Smith.
