OFSA registration
The Osceola Family Sports Association will hold registration for its fall football and cheerleading teams for ages 4-14 today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Archie Gordon Park.
Cost is $85 per child. Bring birth certificate, proof of insurance and parent’s ID. For information, call Josh Day at 407-873-8991.

Terry Stewart golf
The Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration for the 21st Annual Terry Stewart Memorial Golf Classic March 29 through April 14.
The best ball tournament will take place at the Kissimmee Golf Club April 17 at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $65 or $260 per four-person team.  Fees, a commemorative golf towel, a cup, lunch and a raffle are included.
All proceeds support the Terry Stewart Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides funding for children to participate in recreational programs.
To date, Terry Stewart Memorial events, such as the Golf Classic, have generated more than $40,000 in scholarships.

Tigers golf tourney
New Dimensions High School, the county's only charter high school, will hold a fundraiser golf tournament April 24 at Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club.
Entry fee for the 10 a.m. shotgun start is $75 per player or $250 per foursome, which includes greens fees and door prizes. Register by April 17 by contacting NDHS Athletic Director Ryan Adams at 407-592-3028 adams@ newdimensionshs.com.

ATC spring camp
The American Tennis Club will hold a spring break camp April 5-10 at 6375 U.S. Highway 192.
Children ages 10-14 meet from 10 a.m. to noon; ages 15-18 meet from noon to 2 p.m. The camp consists of clinics, lessons, match play and games.

Falcons Fire golf
Five Falcon’s Fire Golf Club’s “Hats Off” to baseball fans promotion enables golfers to book a tee time at Falcon’s Fire between 7 and 8:30 a.m. from through April 3 and receive $30 off green fees just by playing in their favorite baseball team’s hat.
Falcon’s Fire created this special promotion to celebrate the 2010 spring training season and enable baseball fans to get in a quick round of golf on game day.
During the promotion, any golfer who plays a round at Falcon’s Fire and wears a professional baseball team-logo hat will receive a special rate of $99 (regularly $129). To book a tee time, call the pro shop at 407-239-5445.

SC Aquatic Team

Open volleyball
The Kissimmee Athletics Division offers adult open gym volleyball at Denn John Middle School Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $3 per player and clean, non-marking court shoes are required. For information, call 407-518-2504.

The Harmony Golf Preserve is offering Uncomplicated Golf Schools clinics instructed by Florida Troon Golf Director Dennis Murray through March 26.

American Tennis
The American Tennis Club (ATC) is accepting registration for children ages 12-under for its Quick Start Tennis Clinics.
The USTA (United States Tennis Association) Quick Start Tennis is an entry level program for new players. Quick Start Tennis will be at the ATL complex at the Ramada Inn, 6375 U.S. Highway 192 (across from Celebration).

Pavement Pounders
The St. Cloud Pavement Pounders non-profit running club welcomes new members of all ages.
The club meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Dicey Reilly’s Pub and Eatery on New York Avenue, next to city hall. First time visitors are encouraged to visit on Thursdays.
Tuesday is an open night, where runners train at their discretion. The club hosts a structured 5K run/walk on Thursday. Walkers begin at 6:45 p.m.; runners begin at 7 p.m. Skill levels range from beginners to marathon runners.

Soccer lessons
Coach Hector, a former player and coach in Argentina, offers professional training for children ages 8-18 similar to the Argentina and Brazil minor league clubs. Call 407-933-2615.

Tennis league
The Osceola Tennis Network, a tennis league for fun and competition, meets Fridays at 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Street complex.
Also offered is USTA Junior Team Tennis, which meets Sundays at 4 p.m., and the Lady Slammers women’s league.

Water polo, diving
Youth ages 8-18 may join Toho Water Polo or Dive Osceola offered at the Makinson Aquatic Center in association with the Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department.
No experience is necessary, but students must demonstrate swimming ability.

Strokes ‘N Fun
The Kissimmee Strokes ‘N Fun youth swimming team seeks members for its year-round program at the Makinson Aquatic Center.
The team practices Mondays-Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The fee is $40 per month. Children must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate. Stop by any Monday through Wednesday for a free tryout. For information, call 407-870-POOL.
