OHS Invitational
The Osceola Invitational track meet at Osceola High begins today at 9 a.m.
Twenty teams, including St. Cloud and Harmony, will compete.
Lake Wales sprinter Octavious Freeman, who won three events at the Poinciana Invitational last weekend, will square off against Osceola High state champion Tynia Gaither in the 100 and 200 meters sprints.

Tigers golf tourney
New Dimensions High School, the county's only charter high school, will hold a fundraiser golf tournament April 24 at Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club.
Entry fee for the 10 a.m. shotgun start is $75 per player or $250 per foursome, which includes greens fees and door prizes. Register by April 17 by calling NDHS Athletic Director Ryan Adams at 407-592-3028.

Falcons Fire golf
Five Falcon’s Fire Golf Club's “Hats Off” to baseball fans promotion enables golfers to book a tee time at Falcon’s Fire between 7 and 8:30 a.m. through April 3 and receive $30 off green fees just by playing in their favorite baseball team’s hat.
Falcon's Fire created this special promotion to celebrate the 2010 spring training season and enable baseball fans to get in a quick round of golf on game day.
During the promotion, any golfer who plays a round at Falcon’s Fire and wears a professional baseball team-logo hat will receive a special rate of $99 (regularly $129). To book a tee time, call the pro shop at 407-239-5445.

The Kissimmee Athletics Division offers adult open gym volleyball at Denn John Middle School Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $3 per player and clean, non-marking court shoes are required.

American Tennis
The American Tennis Club (ATC) is accepting registration for children ages 12-under for its Quick Start Tennis Clinics.

Pavement Pounders
The St. Cloud Pavement Pounders non-profit running club welcomes new members of all ages. The club meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Dicey Reilly’s Pub on New York Avenue, next to city hall. First time visitors are encouraged to visit on Thursdays. Tuesday is an open night, where runners train at their discretion. The club hosts a structured 5K run/walk on Thursday. Walkers begin at 6:45 p.m.; runners begin at 7 p.m.  Skill levels range from beginners to marathon runners.

Water polo, diving
Youth ages 8-18 may join Toho Water Polo or Dive Osceola offered at the Makinson Aquatic Center in conjunction with the Kissimmee recreation department. No experience is necessary, but students must demonstrate swimming ability. For information, contact Ron Minor at 321-402-6991.

Strokes ‘N Fun
The Kissimmee Strokes ‘N Fun youth swimming team seeks members for its year-round program at the Makinson Aquatic Center.
The team practices Mondays-Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The fee is $40 per month. Children must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate. Stop by any Monday through Wednesday for a free tryout. For information, call 407-870-POOL.
