Tigers golf tourney
New Dimensions High School, the county's only charter high school, will hold a fundraiser golf tournament April 24 at Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club.
Entry fee for the 10 a.m. start is $75 per player or $250 per foursome, which includes greens fees and door prizes. Register by April 17 by calling Athletic Director Ryan Adams at 407-592-302; e-mail adams@ newdimensions.com.

All-State football
Five Osceola County football players were selected to all-state football teams recently.
The Class 4A all-state team includes St. Cloud receiver James Boone, named to the third team, and two Liberty players. Offensive lineman Marc Castillo and defensive back Patrice Pierre each received honorable mention.
In Class 5A, Osceola High defensive back Akeem Daniels was a second team selection, and linebacker Marc Deas was named to the third team.

Falcons Fire golf
The Falcon’s Fire Golf Club's “Hats Off” to baseball fans promotion enables golfers to book a tee time at Falcon’s Fire between 7 and 8:30 a.m. from through April 3 and receive $30 off green fees by playing in their favorite baseball team’s hat.
Falcon's Fire created this special promotion to celebrate the 2010 spring training season and enable baseball fans to get in a quick round of golf on game day.
During the promotion, any golfer who plays a round at Falcon’s Fire and wears a professional baseball team-logo hat will receive a special rate of $99 (regularly $129).

Open volleyball
The Kissimmee Athletics Division offers adult open gym volleyball at Denn John Middle School Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Harmony Golf Preserve is offering Uncomplicated Golf Schools clinics instructed by Florida Troon Golf Director Dennis Murray through March 26.

American Tennis
The American Tennis Club (ATC) is accepting registration for children ages 12-under for its Quick Start Tennis Clinics.
The USTA (United States Tennis Association) Quick Start Tennis is an entry level program for new players. Quick Start Tennis will be held at the ATL complex located at the Ramada Inn, 6375 West U.S. Highway 192. (across from Celebration).

Pavement Pounders
The St. Cloud Pavement Pounders non-profit running club welcomes new members of all ages.
The club meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Dicey Reilly’s Pub and Eatery on New York Avenue, next to city hall.
First time visitors are encouraged to visit on Thursdays.
The club also hosts special events throughout the year.
