Above, singer Sista Michelle and her band braved gusty winds and cold rain Saturday afternoon to perform at the Kissimmee Festival of Rhythm and Blues. The event, which is co-sponsored by the Osceola News-Gazette, was at Kissimmee Lakefront Park.

At left, stand-up comedian Daniel Whitney, aka Larry the Cable Guy, brought his blue collar comedy to a capacity crowd at the Silver Spurs Arena Saturday night.

Since growing up in West Palm Beach, the comedian appeared in numerous films, released three comedy albums and toured as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
