Readers of the Osceola News-Gazette in a few weeks will see some significant changes in the newspaper and its Web site, from improved graphics and localized news sections to more online content. The changes will make the newspaper – both the print and online versions – more appealing visually and more accessible in terms of easy-to-find news for particular parts of the county.

The update to the graphics of the print version is made possible due to improved technology. And more content on the new Web site will mean readers will have a richer online experience if they choose – and more and more are doing so – to get their local news in this manner. There also will be new opportunities online to comment on the issues facing the various communities in Osceola County.

At the same time, the redesign will give advertisers a new opportunity to reach existing and potential customers in the main population areas of the county.

In addition, the Osceola News-Gazette will boost its circulation, which means more residents will see the publication than ever before. To that end, it is important for readers to fill out and return the circulation forms in the News-Gazette or those sent out by other means and return them, if they haven’t done so already. The signatures are required to show the U.S. Postal Service that there are a certain number of people who have requested the newspaper.

There also will be changes to the Osceola Shopper and Hola Osceola. Those changes will be announced in coming weeks along with more details on the changes to the award-winning Osceola News-Gazette.

Again, the changes will make the Osceola News-Gazette more competitive in these challenging financial times as well as position it for growth for the future.
