Osceola County School for the Arts has once again earned a prestigious place in the Silver category of the U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools newest ranking.
Two additional Osceola schools, the district's Professional And Technical High School (PATHS) and New Dimensions High School, also were named in the bronze category in the same report, which ranks public high schools to find the very best across the country.
U.S. News and its partner in the project, School Evaluation Services, examined 21,786 public high schools this year to analyze academic and enrollment data to find the very best across the country. These top schools were placed into gold, silver, bronze, or honorable mention categories.
"I am extremely proud of these Osceola schools for their tireless work to ensure our students are successful," Superintendent Michael Grego said. "I believe that Osceola Public Schools as a whole will become a model district, nationally recognized for excellence not only in student achievement, but in all aspects of district operations. We will continue to have a laser-sharp focus on success for each student as we work toward continuous improvement in our high schools and all of our schools."
