Kaplan University announces winter 2010 online graduates PDF Print E-mail

Kaplan University celebrated the graduation of its winter 2010 class during a live ceremony Jan. 30 in Miami. Gen. Colin L. Powell, the 65th Secretary of State and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, served as the commencement speaker.
The following local students were awarded degrees:
• Angela M. Correal, of Kissimmee, associate of applied science in business administration degree.
• Tiffany Cunningham, of Kissimmee, associate of applied science in criminal justice degree.
• Lora Gordon, of St. Cloud, bachelor’s degree in legal studies.
• Thiruthambigai Jeyaselvan, of Kissimmee, associate of applied science in accounting degree.
• Linda King, of Kissimmee, associate of science in interdisciplinary studies degree.
• Daniel Murray, of Kissimmee, associate of science in interdisciplinary studies degree.
• Sherry Rochester-Murray, of Kissimmee, bachelor of science degree in psychology degree.
•  Sonjia Smith, of Kissimmee, associate in health sciences degree.
The Kaplan University winter 2010 class of more than 3,300 students earned their associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees – as well as professional certificates – completely online. Many of them traveled from around the country and the world to attend the ceremony, meeting face-to-face for the first time.
