The arrest of four suspects closed at least 11 burglary cases in west Kissimmee, Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives have reported.

Detectives have recovered about $5,000 worth of stolen property and returned it to the owners. Three of the four arrested in the investigation – 20-year-old Jonathan Aponte-Velez, of Kissimmee, 24-year-old Ricardo Babilonia-Pabon, of Davenport, and 18-year-old Jean Carlos Bauzo-Rivera, of Kissimmee – were breaking into short-term rental homes and stealing electronics and personal items.

A fourth person, 39-year-old Gonzalo Leal, of Kissimmee, is accused of selling the property. The investigation began Jan. 20 when detectives identified Aponte-Velez as a suspect in numerous residential burglaries in the Lindfields subdivision. Further investigation led to the arrests of the three other suspects.

Aponte-Velez, of 4888 W. U.S. Highway 192, is charged with 12 counts of unoccupied burglary, 11 counts of grand theft, seven counts of dealing in stolen property, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Babilonia-Pabon, of 1047 Knollwood Drive, faces two counts of grand theft and one count of dealing in stolen property. Bauzo-Rivera, 2530 Carter Drive, faces four counts of unoccupied burglary and four counts of grand theft. Leal, of 2473 Roble Court, is charged with four counts of dealing in stolen property.

All four were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
