Romantic dinners, wild getaways  and overnight extravagance — love is in the air in Central Florida this Valentine's weekend.

At nearby Gaylord Palms Resort, there are all kinds of romantic experiences awaiting throughout the month of February.

Gaylord Palm highlights include romatinc overnight packages that include champagne and strawberies in your room, breakfast and spa discounts.

You can also spend an afternoon with the resorts food and drink experts at Aprhodite's Tour Feb. 20. The $199 per couple event features a grand tour of the Gaylord Palms restaurants, with something different at each stop including preparing foods that are considered aphrodisiacs, sampling wine and more. The resort is also offering romantic meals all February at Old Hickory Steakhouse, Sunset Sam’s Fish Camp, Villa de Flora, and Sora sushi bar.  All the restaurants have special Valentine's weekend menu additions.  Also, there is a special limited-seating “Fire & Fondue” upgrade option for dinner at Villa de Flora on Sunday Feb. 14. Sea World is also a good way to spend the weekend with your significant other at Bands, Brew and BBQ. The Feb. 13 guest is Montgomery Gentry. Willie Nelson is at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Feb. 14.
The concerts are free with paid admission. Barbecue and cold beer will also be available.

There are several Valentine  dining options at the Downtown Disney restaurnts.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe can try some of the restauran's most popular seafood selections with the Seafood Lover's Prix menu. The $70 per couple menu features four-courses of fresh seafood including steamed clams and mussels, a crab cake salad, surf and turf and chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert.

 Fulton's Crab House is giving all guests an opportunity to win a pearl necklance through Feb. 14. Anyone who dines at the restaurant gets a voucher for  the Pearl Factory.
Guests who also order six or more oysters will automatically be placed in a drawing to win a pearl necklace.

At Portobello, the menu will include a Valentine's Day special for two in addition to regular Italian specialties.
The $59.95 shared menu for two includes an antipasti platter filled with crostini, formaggi and salumi; a choice of bucatini all’amatridana, spaghetti and Meatballs or farfalle with chicken. Dessert features chocolate fantasy panna cotta, chocolate ravioli, chocolate-covered strawberries or Biscotti. $59.95 for two

The Brevard Zoo in Melbourne will host the Family Valentine's Brunch, Valentine's Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Nyami River Lodge. The cost is $20 for children and $30 adults for zoo members and $25 for children and $35 for non-members.

In addition to the brunch, which overlooks giraffe and antelope, there are activities for children including a scavenger hunt and more.

Discovery Cove has three different Valentine's packages at the water attraction.
  All of the packages include a day of swimming with dolphins and snorkeling with rays and tropical fish.
  The packages include:
 Valentine’s Honey Package —  a souvenir  photo and frame, boxed chocolates, and a keepsake buoy with a personalized message delivered to  by one of Discovery Cove’s Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. The package starts at $74.95.
Valentine’s Sweetheart Package —The Sweetheart Package includes the souvenir photo and frame, chocolates, and dolphin “love note” on a personalized buoy, plus a dozen red roses, a private cabana, a bottle of champagne, boxed chocolates and two souvenir toasting flutes. The package is $215.95.
Valentine’s Romance Package — The Romance Package gives guests the ultimate experience, combining both the Honey and Sweetheart package amenities with a champagne chiller, one dozen red roses, and a souvenir DVD of their Discovery Cove experience. The package is $295.95

Signature by the Lake in downtown Kissimmee, has a special Valentine Day dining event Sunday. There are two seatings at 5 and 7 p.m. for the reservations only event.. The menu includes lasagna, organic green salad,  grilled ribeye steak and triple chocolate Amoretto cake with chocolate granache. It includes a complimentary glass of chamgagne or a mimosa. For adults,  the annual Nude Night returns to Orlando tonight, Saturday. The event celebrates the body with hundreds of artists. In addition to art there is live body painting, strolling musicians, dance troupes and mimes.  There is more information at www.nudeniteorlando.com. The event, held at 503 Brookhaven Drive in the Ivanhoe Row District.  is from 6 p.m. until midnight.
