St. Cloud and Poinciana advanced to the semifinal round of the 4A District 6 boys basketball tournament at Poinciana's Mike Brizendine gym.

St. Cloud defeated Harmony, 60-47, in Wednesday's quarterfinals as David Ortiz, James Boone and Jens Soto each scored 14 points. Erick Sjostrom had 10 for the Horns, 6-17.

Poinciana, 7-13, defeated Celebration, 56-53, in overtime as Sherwood Vinson scored 17 for the Eagles. Robert Machecek had 19 for Celebration, 6-20,  before fouling out.

St. Cloud, 14-8, meets Oak Ridge, a 67-32 winner over Tavares, Friday at 5:30 p.m.  Poinciana meets top-seeded Eustis Friday at 7 p.m.

The winners play for the championship Saturday at 7 p.m.
