Jazmin Sanchez, of Pleasant Hill Elementary, was recently chosen as the winner in the Pitsco Education Project contest for her submission in the non-video category.
The Pitsco Education Project contest, sponsored by Pitsco Education, was open to all students involved in one of their curriculum modules (i.e. Missions Lab). Sanchez created a Powerpoint presentation that illustrated how plants grow utilizing digital photography and computer graphics. Her fourth-grade teacher, Lorraine Ambrose, said, "Jazmin is hard working and dedicated to her studies."
Jazmin's classroom will be rewarded with a digital camera and a $100 Pitsco Education gift certificate, and her project will be featured in the February-March issue of The Pitsco Network magazine.
