Two arrested for Poinciana car burglary PDF Print E-mail

Two Poinciana residents were arrested Tuesday for a car burglary and admitted to breaking into several other cars in the Poinciana area, Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives said.

Matthew Ramos, 20, and Chassity Cobb, 18, face charges of unoccupied burglary to a vehicle, petit theft and criminal use of personal information in connection with a burglary at 2 St. Andrews Court in Poinciana.

On Nov. 16, a resident reported that several items were missing from her vehicle parked at the St. Andrews Court address  The same day, her bank card was unsuccessfully used to obtain money and pay a bill at a restaurant. Detectives identified Ramos as a suspect.

When Ramos was brought in for questioning, he implicated his girlfriend, Cobb, in the burglary. The two broke into several cars in Poinciana, they told detectives.

Detectives obtained felony warrants for Ramos, of 517 Kingfisher Drive in Poinciana, and Cobb, of 819 Jarnac Drive, on Jan. 26, booking them into the Osceola County Jail.
