Kissimmee police arrested a man Tuesday for firing a shotgun at a 22-year-old resident in the 200 block of Principal Court Saturday afternoon.

Michael Brandon Martin, 21, of Kissimmee, was wanted for attempted murder along with discharging a firearm in public.

The gunshots were heard at around 12:45 p.m. The 22-year-old resident told police that Martin got out of his vehicle with a shotgun and fired a shot at him.

Martin, a convicted felon, will be charged with illegal possession of a firearm as well. He was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Orange County without incident.
